ABC Care, Inc. has great employment opportunites for childcare Directors, Assistant Directors, Senior Group Leaders, Group Leaders,  and Assistants.  We are one of the largest before and after school childcare programs in Maryland with 11 centers located in Carroll County and one in Baltimore County.  Becuase of our split schedule we are able to offer flexible hours in the morning or the late afternoon through out the school year.  Our positions can accomodate individuals looking for full time employment and those needing part time due to college or high school class schedules.

ABC Care offers great positions for those individuals entering the field of education or who are currently working in the school age environment. 

In addition we offer summer employment opportunites for Camp Directors, Camp Counselors and Camp Assistants.  We have five camps located throughout Carroll County and one camp in Baltimore County.

Positions and qualifications for before and after care programs:

Director or Assistant Director		Pay Range $13.00-$20.00		Age 21 or older, high school diploma or GED, CPR 1st Aid Certified, one of the following: Bachelors Degree in Education/Teaching certificate/teaching experience, or Bachelors Degree in unrelated field with 400 hours as a Childcare Teacher and/or 1 year experience as a school age provider, or 90 hours of coursework and a minimum of 400 hours of experience with school age children.
Senior Childcare Teacher or Childcare Teacher		Pay Range $10.00-$13.00		Age 19 or older, high school diploma or GED, CPR 1st Aid Certified, 6 semester hours/ 90 clock hours of approved training in childcare age range 5-14 years, 1 year of college or 400 hours experience with school age children or a combination of both, willing to take course work.
Assistant Childcare Teacher		Pay Range $7.50-$8.50		Age 18 or older, at least six months experience working with school age children or 3 semester hours of approved training and willing to take course work.
Assistant		Pay Range $7.00-$8.00		Age 16 or older, willing to take continuing education courses, helpful if the individual has some experience with school age children or high school course work in child development.
